Our client, AMP Logistics Ltd. tasked us to ‘design+build’ a container terminal that can easily be converted to a warehouse five years after the project was completed. A simple taste at first thought, the structural implications pushed our architects and engineers to come up with creative solutions. After nine months of creative thinking, design and construction, the project was completed to include, a five hundred number capacity container terminal, two security gates, a security tower and a driver’s lounge. Complementing the terminal, is a contemporary office block, draped in a silver coated steel mesh that helps reduce the cooling loads on the building.
